"How's My Toddler's Speech & Language?" A Workshop Series
Join Speech-Language Pathologist, Jenna Howden, for this 2-part parent and toddler tutorial where we review what to expect for your child's speech and language development. This workshop is perfect for parents with a child between 1-2 years old (i.e., 12-24 months) who are wondering how to give their child's communication skills a boost.
Part 1: Parent Group
In this 1.5 hour session, we review the milestones and simple strategies for building your child's communication skills. This is your chance to learn, ask questions and connect with other parents. Video demonstrations will be used to preview each 12-24 month skill and a workbook with easy, at-home activities will be provided.
Part 2: Toddler Session
Once you've had some time to explore the skills at home, you will come back in small groups (i.e., max of 4 parents/toddlers) for a 1 hour session designed to review the guided checklist with the speech-language pathologist, trouble shoot and receive specialized modeling and instruction tailored to your child. By the end of this session, you will know exactly where your child is at in regards to their communication skills.
Please note that the first session is parents only while the second session is a hands-on session including your little one(s).
The cost of this workshop series is $199.00. Receipts will be provided for those who wish to seek coverage through employee benefit plans.
